How to order:

* Can I obtain sample pages of Language Materials materials?

Language Materials will be happy to supply you via e-mail sample pages from each material that you request.

* What is Language Materials returns policy?

Language Materials are unable to accept any product sold for return unless the items sent are incorrect to your order. If however, any of the goods we dispatch to you are faulty or damaged please send them back to us and we will replace them free of charge.

* How do I place an order?

Language Materials can receive your order by post or by email. On the page “Order”, you can download a spreadsheet of our order form. To use, simply complete the order form, save the document to your PC and then e-mail it to us as an attachment. Alternatively you can print out a completed copy for postage to us.

* How can I pay for my order?

Language Materials accept the following payment options:

  • Credit or Debit cards
  • Direct payment into our bank account (BACS transfer) by prior arrangement only.

ImageLanguages Materials are a registered Retail provider with Curriculum Online. All of our materials are Curriculum Online accredited and can be bought using your eLearning Credits.


About our materials:

* Who writes the Language Materials products?

All of the products on sale by Language Materials are written by currently practicing specialist teachers for teachers to teach with. All of the materials have been tested by use to teach pupils within a real teaching environment.

* What quality control has Language Materials undertaken?

Language Materials has endeavoured to ensure that all of the materials they supply are free of defects or mistakes wherever possible. They have been extensively tested within real teaching environments for their accuracy. If despite this, an error or omission is spotted, we would appreciate feedback to allow our materials to be amended accordingly. Please see contact us for feedback details.

* Do I need to have any ICT skills to use these materials?

You do not need any particular ICT skills other than basic Microsoft Office™. Our materials are designed mainly for use on PowerPoint & Word, unless specified otherwise. We have specifically designed all our materials in such a way that it requires little or no ICT knowledge.

* Are the materials easy to use?

Yes, we have designed our materials to be easy to use. We have applied the same format and layout throughout all of our materials. Because we want our resources to be user friendly, they all feature a main menu which takes you exactly where you want to go at the click of the mouse. No wasted time!

* Is there any help with the operation of the material?

Yes, each presentation features a slide that gives clear instructions on how to navigate through the presentation. However if you have any further questions, do not hesitate to contact us, we are just an e-mail away!

* Can I print the materials?

Yes you can. Obviously there are materials that are specifically designed for printing such as the Certificates, the Inspirational Posters or the Alphabet copy masters. Others such as the animated PowerPoint presentations are generally not designed for printing.

* How can I integrate the material into my teaching?

Our material are very flexible. You can run them from beginning to end or you can choose to break them down over several lessons and use only the part that is relevant to what you are teaching at the time.

* What equipment do I need to run these materials?

As a minimum you must have a PC or laptop running Windows 2000 or XP, with Microsoft Office 2003 installed. You will need to have a CD-ROM drive to be able to read the CD that we shall supply you with the material on it.

* How are Language Materials products licensed?

When you buy one of our materials you are actually purchasing a site wide license. This means that we grant you free rights to copy the CD as many times as you like provided that it is for use within your own school or organisation. You may also install a copy on a network which can then be accessed by all teachers working at your school. You are not however authorised to copy the CD for distribution to other establishments or any personnel at other establishments.

* How are Language Materials products delivered?

The materials that you purchase from us will be delivered on CD-ROM. All materials are recorded on high quality Sony CDs only and come in a sturdy DVD type case. We will dispatch all orders to UK addresses using Royal Mail first class postage. All overseas orders will go Airmail unless specifically requested otherwise.

* What guarantee is offered on Language Materials products?

Language Materials will guarantee the original CD that is supplied to your order for a period of 1 year from the date of order. So if for any reason you are unable to read the CD that we supply you we will supply a replacement free of charge. All you have to do is to return the faulty item to us with a short advice of what is wrong and we will replace it.
